Really like the look of your D, almost wish I had bought white now!

On the process,
How did you paint the grill, lower chrome pieces. Did you tape them off, did you paint the entire grill? How much paint did you use. Do you happen to know the UPC/PN of the plasti dip for this? It looks like the stuff online is all supposed to be permanent.

I have been wanting a white car for a very long time. When I was up for a new ride, it was going to be white no matter what. I had to compromise on my interior option though

I unseated the grill from where it mounts up top in the bay. I was able to get a large hand towel in between the grill and the radiator. All overspray was stopped by this. I taped around all the trim. Definitely makes clean up easier! I recommend covering the ENTIRE CAR! You could tape around the trim and then use newspapers to cover the body panels. This way your clean up will be like 15 minutes vs hours.

spray outside in a covered area. Spray from about 8 inches away.

The plasti dip is available at Home Depot in their spray can department. I had to ask the sales associate because it was located in an obscure location. I bought 5 cans initially. I bought three more second time around. I probably used 6 1/2 cans. Some areas can use a little more spray. I recommend buying at the minimum 8 cans if you want to do the entire trim.

I used about 1 entire can on the grill.
