Default door edge protection

With the crazy wind gust we have been having! I decided to put on some door edge protection.

If anyone is interested At pep boys they sell it in 2 45" strips and its made from a softer material which make it easy to install! It isnt glossy like the harder plastic style. They give you just enough to do both front doors top to bottom which leaves you with a perfect strip for the rear doors.

Looks good! The center caps came out good. I'm thinking about the door edge protectors. I'll have to stop by Pep Boys.

If you like the look of the black wheels I highly suggest you get them powder coated with a gloss black, they will look amazing compared to your do it yourself spray job.

Default wheels

Well so far so good the plasti-dip sprayed stock wheels are holding up nice and no signs of peeling!

I've had my wheels powder coated. The folks that did them said that the gloss would eventually show scratches from normal wear - So I went with the flat black - like your plasti-dip. I really like them.

I too powdercoated the stock wheels, following SinisterRT's example. I went with gloss black and they look great. I paid $60 per wheel and another $140 for mount and balance, and new lugs, black.

It took a week to have the wheels done so while the D sat on jackstands I painted the calipers red too....
