The 2011/2012 V-6 Durango does not have MDS/Multi-displacement system. It has the 3.6 liter flex fuel V-6, which is rated at 290 hp and 260 pound-feet of torque. The MDS is in the V-8 Hemi the purpose is to shut down four cylinders during cruising speed to save fuel. The next gen./Power tech engines came out in the late 90's/early 2000's. Chrysler is now using the Pentatstar Engines for most (maybe by now) all vehicles that use a V-6. The link you have is for a version of the Pentastar Engine available in the Durango and most other Chrysler products.
