Oh and I get my HID's through a supplier from California.

I'm in cali, did you just swap out bulbs or complete housing.

hid conversion kit in the stock housing. just a bulb and ballast plug n play kit.

I like it! I wanted to do this since day one, I can't stand how the fogs dont match the factory HIDs. Link?

FYI as far as I can tell, Cree is a valid lighting company but does not make vehicle bulbs. I may be wrong, but the name might be just thrown on those postings to add sense of quality/value.

to my understanding cree is the maker of the led that is soldered in to the front of the h16 bulb (bbut not actually the maker of the whole unit) and the smd is the other style of leds that surround the rest of the h16 housing

Sounds good. Hard to distinguish on eBay what is legitimate brand name, and what is knock-off.
