Default Dodge Durango 2012 Backup Camera

I just bought a 2012 Dodge Durango R/T and I have the 730n rhr navigation system and I am looking to put in the backup camera as it did not come with the car (although they told me it would). There is a spot in the durango's for the backup camera and I can't find this camera anywhere online. Does anybody know where I can purchase this backup camera so that I can put it in the same place as the other ones that come with the camera. I am going to be putting the lockpick system on there as well, has anybody done this and does anybody have any tips/information that could be useful. Thank you for any help you can give me.

Weird because the way my sticker reads and my understanding when shopping out the truck was the back up camera was included in the 430n entry nav/commuter group which was included as a prerequisite item if u got the upgraded 730n nav. So I'm lost as to how ur vehicle doesn't have it?

Any package on the rt that includes navigation automatically rear park sensors and rear camera are included unless the dealer installed the 730 after it left the factory

The 730n was available in '12 R/T without rear backup in Dec '11. We know, because when we were test driving, the one on lot did not have it. . . It took a dealer-trade to get the camera we wanted.

To the OP, at first the dealer said they would install the camera, but they backed out of that offer the next day . . . said that they could not do it - > hence, the dealer-trader for one with camera.

I agree, good luck also. CMil527 may have a lead for you.

Hopefully parts are available now. . 6 months ago they seemed hard to find. The dealer we were buying from said they could not get them. I even went to another dealer and pretending to want to retro-fit. The parts appeared in system, but when they tried to order, they showed unavailable.
