I'm not sure if anyone here needs this but for future post readers, here is a video showing the whole process on a jeep grand Cherokee (everything exactly the same except the door handle lights)


Just go to you tube and search "precision led Durango" (in case the link gets cut off)

The only thing that killed me was getting the bulbs out until i wrapped them in duct tape and pulled em out. Thanks to everyone here for your help as well. Inside looks awesome now!

 

Great Vid thanks. I did want to change out the lights on the tail gate, but really dont want to take all that apart just for those few bulbs. Thanks though.

New 13 R/T owner, so I've got tons of reading to do.


Question,
I've bought Precision LEDs before, and I'm about to know for my all black R/T.
BUT,
They have an option for Ruby Red.
Has anyone done this ?....I'm thinking this could be real cool to match the dashboard Red lights, and the red R/T and red stitching.

 

Did you ever put led's in for the turn signals?

 

No,
But I would....I love the instant on/off that LEDs have, versus the dimming on/off of traditional lights.


Our other car is 2012 Hyundai Azerra, it has LEDs all around inside and out....this Durango does need to be updated.


I ordered 6000 white, all interior bulbs from Precision, just like I did before, that's a 30 minute mod that updates the interior.
