Post Durango Production ?

Will Dodge contuine Durango production after 2016.

Seems that I read that they were going to end production in 2016, going to build some type os suv other than the D.

Any info, appreciated, I keep cars for at least 10 years would like the parts will still be avail.

61,

There has been no announcement of when/if the Durango will be discontinued.

the parts will be available for quite a while after they stop manufacturing them, i would be willing to bet that 10 years from now parts will be very easy to find for the gen 3s, hell even for my gen 1 id bet they will be easy to find.

It's actually a Federal Law that spare parts have to be available 10 years from the time the vehicle is not manufactured anymore..

2015 will be the last year of the Durango. Its being replaced by the Jeep Grand Wagoneer

which makes perfect sense! They wanna sell these bad boys for the next 3 years! 2014-15 will be the pinnacle of the Durango! I promise...Ive seen the specs! But it will also be the last...sadly! The wagoneer is an iconic Jeep brand that will sell well at the luxury level. Somehting the Durango could never do. 2015 is it for the Rango. Its listed nowhere in the development plans and papers and has been hinted at by engineers, the press and Marchianno himself. 2016 Grand cherokee and wagoneer are very prominent in the plans and papers. Plus add the maserati suv to JNAP production and that spells the end for the Rango.

Rumor is probably true. The Jeep with a 3rd row would sell better than the Durango. Would not keep me from being a buyer. It's a great vehicle and we've had no issues since we bought 11 months back. Parts will be around as Chrysler will have to support warranties, etc.
