Hello all,

I've noticed a few of you have Factory Reproduction Viper 22's on your 3rd gen Durango's.....but I can't find them at www.factoryreproduction.com.

Is this a newer item that isn't on there website?

ahhhhh.....didn't think about that.

So the 5x5 bolt pattern is the same as 5x127 correct?

1 inch equals 25.4mm.....consequently 25.4 x 5 would equal 127mm.....correct?


I'm assuming I want the 22x9's, right?


And a 285/40/22 fits on this just fine correct?

correct and correct, you can do 265's or 275's as well. I'll be going with 265's when I get my wheels.

I have the machined face on my black Durango. Looks great IMO

 

For you guys with the 22s, notice any difference between the stock 20"? I was thinking the added weight may make things feel sluggish and cause some additional wear on the trans. Your thoughts???

 

I had a 2009 Yukon XL Denali that I upgraded to GM 22's and the ride quality, acceleration, loudness.....etc....everything was the same

 

when you go to bigger rims this means smaller tire sidewall, ride will suffer for sure because there is less material to flex under impacts from the road (potholes ect), and due to rotating mass differences you may have some affect on your acceleration/deceleration and handling, however i wouldnt expect it to be very much or very noticable only adding 1inch to the radius of the rim. Also you will NOT be adding any stress to the trans or creating any addition/premature wear to the trans by changing the rim size

 

Jeep bolt pattern and offset... 22x9 et35 is what u need!
