Hesitation between shifts
Is it just me, or is "throttle by wire" very frustrating for others also?
Our Durango R/T is mainly my wife's daily driver, so I am wondering if maybe the computer has learned her driving habits, so that when I get in, it is trying to relearn a new driver?
When I accelerate from a stop, not slow, but not a lot of throttle, it feels like the throttle "backs off" each time the transmission shifts. It almost feels like riding in a manual car, where your head dips forward between gears.
Hopefully some day the codes are cracked on the ECU, and someone comes up with a better, firmer, shifting algorithm . . . because this one sucks.
Does anyone else notice this "hesitation" on R/Ts or other hemis? If not, maybe we need to get it checked out. I am tempted to test drive another to see if it does the same.

I don't notice any hesitation between shifts, but then again even though it is my wife's vehicle I still probably drive it more than she does so it has likely learned my driving habits rather than hers.
