Just bought a 2011 Crew and have a DVD question...Put the DVD in and can hear the DVD but cant see it on the screen?

Any tricks I need to do?

If you're talking about the in-dash DVD, it has to be in park.

 

Could be a bad unit. Does everything else work? Have you tried different DVDs?

 

It was............still wasnt working...Just the audio

 

Everything else works perfect..

 

I just played a DVD in mine and the music player screen came up first and the disc played without picture. Pressed the Video button in the lower right and it switched to the video screen.
What are you seeing when you insert the DVD?

 

What State do you live in? I live in Florida and its a law the dealer has to disable the the dash screen before they sell the vehicle. Check your state laws.

There is no button on the screen to hit "video button" when the DVD is in and playing

 

OK then, what ARE you seeing on the screen when this happens?
Also it would help to know which head unit you have and
