I would do them right after the cats but it certainly wouldn't hurt to ask the shop you have cutting them in about the other location!

Here is the dyno sheet on my G8 with the DMH "Low Profile" Cutouts. Open vs Closed.
17 more hp opened!

Wow. Really that's the only difference is open/closed? No tuning changes. If so, that's great news!

Well any tuning changes on yours between the two graphs? I'm literally cutting my exhaust in two hours and wanna clarify.

Just open vs closed. But note I had stock exhaust (quiet) when closed. If you are doing it to an already modified exhaust you may get different results.

Useless you want it abnoxious, but be able to quiet it. Also noet you can open it partially.

I didn't know about partially opening...so that alone will dampen the sound some.
