Default Adding these to my exhaust set-up!

Ordered DMH low-profile electric exhaust cut outs to put on my Borla Catback. I'm installing them just after the resonators. My thought is, if I do this, I will increase the sound for sure without being obnoxious because they will be after the x-pipe and resonators but before the mufflers. I'm pumped. I listened to LX vids for an hour last night and am sure these will be awesome!

Are you kidding me? They sound awesome. I couldn't imagine getting any louder, my neighbors are on the verge of complaining as it is. I want my Black R/T to grow up to be like yours one day

Good luck. I ordered, and paid for, a set of these for my GTO back on May 11th, and still don't have them. I can't get ahold of Dave either. I've called and emailed 1-2 X a week for the past 4 weeks or so, and have yet to hear back.

I ran one of his standard cutouts on an old '96 Z28, and it was great! Dave was easy to get ahold of, it shipped fast, and even 2 years later, he replaced it under warranty with no hassle.

Not sure what changed, but I definitely didn't expect to have such trouble ordering these.

You're right. Back ordered. I cancel and will have the Race Ready Cut-outs tomorrow!

I agree most folks put them right after the cats but loose low end torque...I was thinking right after the x-pipe and resonators.m this will be louder than my full Borla but somewhat refined by the x and resonators. thoughts? They are going on tnite. Thanks!

False. When I had my cutouts i heard that i would lose torque and hp all the time. I have a dyno sheet of mine I will post later. I gained more power and everyone I have talked to that also had cutouts and dynod had same results. Its the people who have never dyno them that say you lose back pressure, power etc.
