Seriously, I know you're talking aftermarket...but that guy really ticks me off......
Some people automaticaly associate whiter light with brighter, not me, but if your headlights are in my face and annoying me, I'll flash you.

I’ve started with swapping the passenger side headlight for comparison purposes. Here are the pictures with passenger side with H9 and driver side with stock H11.

Driver side alone – Stock

Passenger side alone – H9 bulb

So you just shaved off one tab and installed, that's it? What brand H9 also what is the wattage on the H9. I have DRL's for the low beams will this affect light output. Would you happen to know a better bulb for the fog lights?

It's because whiter light is more useable than yellowish or bluish light. This is why HID's (OEM) are designed to resemble natural sunlight.

Yes, only shaved off one tab using an Xacto knife. I got Philips H9 from Amazon for $7.76 each. H9 bulbs are 65 watts. Sorry but I don't know about the rest of your questions.

You might also want to explore these. They have good reviews.

DRLs use the high beam bulbs.

How's the H9 holding up? Any issues?
