Default Cargo Net??

Ok, what are you all using for a cargo net? There isn't any place to attach one, can't find a legit one online. And after 2 watermelon casualties (oh how fabulous to live on a hill.....) & everything slamming around back there, I am in desperate need of something or I am going to start losing my mind! Ideas, etc, thanks!

You could put your melons in a bag and either:

– hang it from the hook on the right side of the rear load space

– or put them in the bin on the left (if they fit)

– or put them in the rear load space recessed compartment (if they fit)

– or put them in a cardboard box and simply use the rear load space.

The first thing I did was put a big rubber mat in the rear (protects the car if there are any spills or sharp items) and then put an anti-slip mat on top of that. Unless you are treating your Durango like a rally car, then that should be fine.

For stuff that might still want to shift around, I use toothed corner supports (that grip into the floor) at the edges of the item (you can get them at most automotive stores).

HTH.

Lol, thanks for your suggestions. Not driving like a rally car, but there are a lot of turns and hills between the house and the store!

Search the forum. I've read somewhere here that one of the members managed to fit a cargo net in her/his D.

My Citadel came with a cargo net, so I was surprised that there was no way to connect it. So, I put it in my wife's Jeep Grand Cherokee, where there are hooks for it and it fit perfectly. Mopar may have a cargo net set that may come with the 2 hooks that are needed for the cargo net to fit. The hooks look like they just screw into the side panels if you pre-drill a hole first. Might even find these at a auto parts store, otherwise, I may need to get the part number for the screws from the Jeep Cherokee.
