Default 730N undocumented satellite functions

I would appreciate a pointer or an info regarding undocumented Sirius functions.
I was not able to find any info in relevant manuals or on the Web.

1.
When listening to Sirius, there is a soft button "Replay" on the display. It is not mentioned in the manual. I figured I can go back in time for a certain period of time and replay a song over and over while the real-time broadcast is being recorded. However, when the truck is shut off, the recordings disappear. Is there a way to keep the recordings? After all, the 730N supposedly have some 20GB of space on its HD.

2.
When listening to Sirius, there is another undocumented soft button depicting notes and a star. When pressed, the currently playing song or interpreter can be "saved".
Purpose of this feature escapes me. Where is the song actually saved to? Can I recall the song and play it again?
I was able to find the list of previously "saved" songs, but I was not able to figure out how to play them or what is the list actually good for.

Thanks for any info you might have.

Cheers
Frank

Can't answer number 1. But number 2, that just marks that song or artist currently playing as a favorite.

That seems to be completely useless to me. I know who my favorites are already. NO need for hard-to-access lists.

May be there is another usage for this list?

As a favorite though when any sat radio channel is playing that song it will come up with a message asking if you want to switch to it.

Let me preface this by saying this is off of memory so it might not be 100%
1. You can save up to 44 minutes of audio, but as soon as, you change the station or turn it off you lose it all. I don't believe there is a way to change that
2. The only thing the favorites does is if the song or artist comes on another channel it will alert you to let you know it is on, so you can listen to it if you want.

wkjeeps has a mygig page with a lot of info, you might be able to find what you are looking for there.
