I am going through this issue too. Dealer has the vehicle and is replacing the Head on the Left Side due to a misfire in cylinder in #4. I also had the ticking but was reassured many times by the dealer this was normal for the Pentastar and was not an issue. What a crock! I will update you guys as soon as I get it back from the dealer.

Thumbs up New Head installed, hotline phone number!

Well after 30k miles and about 3 months of waiting for a head to come in from dodge she is fixed, and the tick is gone and the truck is running better than ever.

I can tell you this. If your dealership is not taking care of you call
Customer assistance number is 800 992 1997 I was getting no answers and i feel the blow off from the dealer. She called them and all of a sudden she opened a case file, called my dealership then called me back and told me to bring the truck tomorrow, funny how the part was in, she has called me or emailed me every day since my truck was fixed and also gave me a rental for 2 days while it was there.........Very happy and very pleased with the customer assistance!!!

Got my truck back now with the new head installed and it seems great.

TO EVERYONE LOOKING AT BUYING OR HAVE PURCHASED A V6 PENTASTAR!

When I spoke to chrysler about this issue because I had to call because the dealer tried to screw me out of a rental car stating that Chrysler does not provide one, which is BS they do with absolutely no issues. I asked them about the engine head and stated that prior at an older dealer and this dealer I asked them about a ticking noise I had heard since the day I purchased the vehicle. They said that is an indicator of the engine head needing to be replaced and the dealers should have noticed this and fixed it. Instead the dealers told me this was normal on every Pentastar they had on the lot. This does not only go with Durangos but also other vehicles like the V6 Charger I had as a rental did it as well and seems like itll have the same issue.

Just an FYI... Get it fixed and as soon as possible and itll be fine.
