Default Break Resistance

I've started to notice an issue with my breaks. Though I don't think it's anything major really, I thought I would run it by you guys.

When I back out of the garage in the morning, I'm of course on the break or I'd roll out of the garage and down the drive way WAY too fast. I always get a moment of resistance.... or like there's a bump on the break pad or something. It only ever happens once.... (once each morning) and probably because I lift off the breaks when it happens. But, it feels odd and is a little concerning.

Any ideas?

Are you talking about as you are already rolling or when you first start the vehicle?

As I'm already rolling...I'm usually half way to the street when it happens.

I just rolled out of here (from home) to pick up some lunch and didn't get any resistance this time around. I'll have to keep a look out for it.

To be honest, I have no idea. I live in Kansas... it's flat.... so if that feature was even present, I don't know that I would have ever paid any attention to it. I'll have to go look.

May be just morning dew on the rotors. I wouldn't worry about it!

I would lean more towards morning dew or moisture on the rotors. It even happens to me after its been raining.

Whatever it is, I didn't feel it this morning. I'm not going to worry about it.

Morning dew is highly unlikely..... we are in such severe drought conditions here that we haven't had morning dew in at least a month!
