Like 2012 sxt posted, you need to sheer off one of the tabs (very easy!) This is the single tab that needs to be removed (other side has two tabs, so its easy to distinguish between the proper one).

Here is a shot of the brightness from the fogs only!

Here is a crap picture meant only to show the brightness compared to the stock headlights (color contrast is WAY better in person and should look even better when the new headlight bulbs come in)

I can't speak to the heat difference and possibility of melting, but with it being halogen and only 10w higher, hopefully it won't be an issue. Bulbs are on amazon for about $25 and come in 4 different kelvin temps. Hope you all find this useful!
Have these melted the housing. Hopefully not.

Thank you forum members. I have always disliked the cheap lights they use in the Fogs. I am so glad you posted this solution! I am going to the store to try to find these right now.

Installed Putco 3800K fog light bulbs in my 11 Durango. They look great and next is a new set of PIAA 4000k bulbs.

Anyone know what the headlight signal light color is, amber or yellow. I would like to match the color of the fog light with the headlight signal light.

Turn signal lights are amber but much more orange than anything I've seen available for the foglights.
