Radar hook up to mirror power ???
I had the dealer (who is a good friend) advise me that it's all digital up there so there so no good point to pull power from. I took my Valentine 1 power from the center console 12v outlet by your right knee.
- Pull off the side panel by your right knee
- then slide it backwards to unclip it from the hinge at the front
- unclip the power connector that clips to the back of the 12v cigarette lighter
- You will need to shave back the protective sheath on the power cable
- I used two snap through power connecters that automatically splice when you cimp them (radio Shack)
- Feed your new 12v wire up and over the brake/accelerator and then slot it into the rubber barrier going up the doorway
- took me 10 mins and not a cable in sight
If you have the automatic brights, I'd suggest ensuring that your detector won't block that sensor. I presume it is behind the mirror, but not sure.
