iPod Album Artwork on 730N!
Normally when I play a song from my iPod, I get the generic little album cover that the Durango puts on each song depending on the genre. But one album on my iPod actually showed the album artwork on the screen. The weird part is that I have over 5000 songs on my iPod and at least 95% of them have album artwork, but all the other albums I tried after noticing this would not show the artwork. Has to be something in the file that the Durango is able to read the artwork. Anyone have any idea?
I loaded 90% of my hdd from an external hd and the rest from CDs. Pretty sure most of the artwork is displayed. I don't have anything Apple so I can’t help you with formats...I do think the manual does list all of the file formats that the 730N recognizes. One thing that ticked me off was somehow my Droid synced the hdd to the phones album; so now I have 500+ unexpected songs & album art pics on my phone. I haven’t played with it much; it must auto sync' while streaming Bluetooth. I suppose I will delete the files from my phone and see if it does it again while streaming Pandora or other music files.
I have the same issue. No artwork. I spoke with Dodge over a coule phonecalls. There is a third party vendor responsible for the software that converts or transports or teleports or whatever, the artwork from the phone to the in dash unit. Dodge said the library is not complete and they don't try to keep it up.
I think there is another way....I remember reading about converting the file format on each songs artwork.......cant remember how....
Good luck and post whatever you find as a solution!

Oh, OK! That's what I was gonna ask. The album I'm talking about that displayed the artwork was from 1996. Maybe the others I tried was too new!
How do you update it?
