Hey xsdbs, sorry I have been away from the computer for a couple of days. My Durango is a 2012 RT. I have tried rebooting etc. My wife has the unit since my last post I will check in with her when she gets home later in the evening. I did not have similar issues with my charger or the caravan I had in the past. Basically start the vehicle up and the music was ready to go.

 

I have a 2012 Crew with the same problem. I have two different iPods and they both lose connection to my 730n. Mine was built in Dec '11 so I had them update the software and still no change.

How do I get the software upgrade for the Radio and Bluetooth? 2011 Ram (pre-6/2011) with RBZ unit and Uconnect.
Do the upgrade solve the syncing with a Samsung Galaxy S3?

Just to let you know that I have been using my friennds GIII for a couple days with no issues. Let me know if you haven't had the update done, ok.

 

my iPhone 4 connects no problem with usability issues:
1. Most album artwork does not appear
2. I can not use voice to text. \

Can the 730N do voice to text and if so is it compatible with the iPhone 4?

 

The 730N does not do voice to text. They don't support the profile MAP yet.
Album artwork will never be close to 100% because there will always be new music that wasn't available when the Gracenote SW was updated as well as old music that they don't have artwork or data on.
Look at iTunes, many times I'll add a CD to my library and I am asked if I want to send the data to iTunes for their library. If we want to update our artwork, we have to be able to access iTunes and go online.
The Uconnect (as well as other vehicle car kits) are aable to go online to update.
