Well, since taking the side panel off and tightening that nut, I have not heard the creaking sound again. I don't know if doing that fixed it or not, but it certainly wasn't intentional. I thought I would need to take it apart again to really look at it.

I will be driving a lot tomorrow, I'll see if it returns. I've only been driving to the office this week and really didn't drive the D this weekend. Tomorrow will definitely tell the truth.

 

Sorry I have not gotten back to you guys regarding my dealer appointment for the drivers seat but my appointment was the day after "sandy" hit so I never made it to dealer. I am going to make another appointment this week. As soon as I get it to dealer I will follow up.

 

I finally had the opportunity to bring my Durango in for the seat noise. The dealer torqued all the bolts on the seat. The minute I made it to the corner the noise was still there. Went back to service and they said they can't do any other adjustments so they are ordering a new seat frame. Will keep you updated.

 

Update to Seat Noise. The dealer installed the new parts for the driver seat Part# 4610301af (adjuster for power seat) and it is finally fixed. The noises in the seat are all gone, what a relief.
