'11+ Tuner - Finally!!?
Trinity in hand, ready to go.
Diablo has already tuned a Ram so I dont see why the '11 5.7 Durango is much different. Im assuming its all ready to go.
Time for some turbos! With that being said, I cant wait to read all the nonsense throttle body threads once this comes out..........

Don't expect to see magically-high HP gains. The main advantages should be in drivability - reduced torque management, shift points, throttle response, etc. Even if the "gains" are only 15 hp the drivability of the truck will hopefully be markedly improved. That makes it more difficult to evaluate the tune, we will have to rely on what owners have to say rather than just numbers off a dyno - which are notoriously easy to manipulate anyway.

Ive never put much stock in tuners either for power gains, but have had to have them in the past for MODs ive made (tires, thermostates...etc), I agree they sometimes improve drivability though. However, it is strange that our HEMI is 30 hp's less than the HEMI in every other vehicle dodge/ram offers them in, hoping the Trinity will fix that at least.
I doubt it has anything to do with them not wanting Durango owners to have performance. It took years for them to crack the codes and develop a tune for the current Ram engines - and Rams are where the money is. Far far far more Rams than Durangos or GCs, so they put their development time and money where it will pay off the fastest. We can hope that the tuner will eventually work for Durangos.
