Default '11+ Tuner - Finally!!?

Looks pretty official; DiabloSport will be releasing a tune for us at SEMA '12. From what I gather, you can buy the Trinity Tuner now and just download the tune after release. http://www.diablosport.com/forum/vie...39455&start=60

I ordered one, guess I will be the guinea pig should we actually see a release for the D's. found a buyer with a 60 day return policy, im actually hoping for a better mpg map, If I want to go fast I got my M for that.

I got mine on ebay brand new $540 shipped, with 60 return policy. I figured the prices on these might spike once the software is released for 11+ 's. I guess these are msrp $599 right?

Hard to tell, but it looks like it's only for the 6.1l engine though. I'm sure the 5.7l will not be far behind. I wonder if they'll ever get to the 3.6l?

anyone know if the trinity tuner allows shift point manipulation?

After some research it looks like Diablo is really trying to hit up the 3.6l Jeep market hard; allowing for selectable tunes on the fly (street, rock crawling, trail…..) with different idle, throttle response and so on. Although this was mainly for the Wrangler crowd, if they also get the Grand Cherokee then we (Durango’s) are a no brainer.

The 5.7l/545rfe setup is pretty much unchanged from previous years aside from the encryption and updated comps. So, I would think adapting and tweaking existing tunes for this engine would require the least amount of testing. There have also been a few pics of a ’12 Challenger R/T (5.7) on Diablo’s dyno.

It looks like a lot of testing is going into the new 6.4l as well.

Guys, we have not yet made an 'official announcement'.
I will tell you that I feel like I have done everything in my power to answer these questions without letting the cat out of the bag entirely.
