Has anybody noticed their R/T exhaust getting louder? I just went over 5,000 miles on my D and it sounds like it has an aftermarket exhaust on it now. When I bought it, it was so quiet I wondered if Dodge put the wrong mufflers on it. Now it sounds great even at start up. It doesn't compare to my Challenger R/T but I doubt if there is another factory SUV that sounds that good.

 

you just had to break in exhaust. And the 5.7 does sound great but add a Magnaflow exhaust and it will sound even better.

 

The R/T sounds ok, but i want to add an exhaust system to it sometime in the future..

 

There are a few guys on the forum, including me, who went with Flowmaster! If you want a deep sound that shakes houses and that you can feel in your chest - that's the way to go.
