Default Approximate amount of miles to a full tank on an R/T 5.7L V8?!

So I've been considering the R/T in exchange for my 2012 Durango. Just curious to know how many miles to the full tank most of you guys are getting? Please include the cost, what octane and of course the amount of miles you can get before it hits empty?

Just curious to know if the overall cost is that much more than the V6! Looking at a black R/T at the moment and my dealer will knock off around $7k to compensate me for my defective "D" as mentioned in my first post. And how come there are no Mineral Grey D's out there? I love black on black but I'm too OCD to carry on with my day after going through a small puddle. Also, I'm a lil weary on getting into an R/T because I know myself all too well. I'm fine with the stock wheels but I know I'll want to add the Borla exhaust and maybe some carbon fiber pieces, most especially if they have a dash kit.... I'm scared!

Thanks in advance!

I have a mineral grey R/T. Running down the highway, I can get about 500 miles on a tank. It holds about 25 gallons, I get a little over 20 mpg on the highway. I'm seeng 16-18 in town.

I will get 20 mgp on the highway, and around 14 mpg in the city. I think there is something wrong with my right foot.......
I normally run mid-grade gas. What are the you guys running for octane?

I never run mid-grade. Out of the 3 grades at the pump, I go low or high. They recommend something like 90 octane for the best performance from the Hemi. It runs fine on the low grade, but sometimes I put in the good stuff. It probably gives better mileage with high grade, but I'm not sure if it pays for itself.

RTFM. Pg 511, Fuel Requirements 5.7l Engine:

"The manufacturer recommends the use of 89 octane for optimum performance. The use of premium gasoline is not recommended, as it will not provide any benefit over regular gasoline in these engines."

Yup!

This was the first thing I looked up when I bought the truck. Mid-grade is all I've put in it. $90 on average to fill it up here in NJ. Lasts me about a week and a half to two weeks though!
