Not sure how much I'll be able to get on here in the coming week. Every new forecast makes the picture look worse and worse.

Hurricane/TS Sandy will be impacting from the Mid-Atlantic up through New England and could push into West Virginia, PA, and even Ohio.

For all of those (like me) that live and work in these areas, stay safe and we'll see ya on the other side.

Likewise - stay safe. I'm in Northwest NJ and bracing for the worst. We lost power for 5 days with Irene and they are saying this one is going to be worse. Mostly worried about trees falling onto my house.

GOOD LUCK EVERYONE!

Being from FL, with the storm being this far out there really is no telling where it will land. Wherever it lands, I hope the people there are protected and well prepared.

I've seen storms do lots of weird things in my half a lifetime.... We'll see what this one does.

I'm going to use this opportunity to test the D out. I'll be driving around looking for reporters that are doing live shots and driving into the view of the cameras to wave at all the pussies hunkering down at home.

I'm in DC and skeptical as to what will happen and just how bad Sandy will be. We did lose power for about a week this past summer with an unexpected storm so I can't imagine what Sandy could do. I plan to be out and working as usual (the pet care field never misses a beat).

Let's hope all ends well and everyone stays safe!

People don't realize how dangerous and unpredictable these hurricanes can be. If you're in an evacuation zone, GET OUT! The people telling you to get out are much more knowledgeable than we are. If you're not going to go through the storm in a safe structure, GET OUT! Mobile homes/pre-fab homes are not safe structures. You don't want to find out in the very middle of the storm that you made a mistake by staying. It's too late then and you've just put yourself and whoever else is with you in danger.

I've been through many hurricanes (Andrew in '92 was a whopper!) and can attest to the fact that they are very dangerous, no matter what category it might be.

Just my $0.02...

All the best to those of you who are in Sandy's path!

Hope everyone is ok in the aftermath of the storm. I know that the shores were devastated. I'm in Old Bridge, NJ and I still don't have power (thankful for family in neighboring towns that do have power). Thank God I bought a generator last year. CMil, DJ Hellfire, and FrankieJr, hope you fellas and your families are safe.
