New Durango R/T Owner
Just want to say hello to everyone and I look forward to being a part of the Durango community. I became the proud owner of a 2013 Dodge Durango R/T Brilliant Black on Friday after the dealership I was at totaled my 2013 Jeep Grand Cherokee Overland while on a test drive. It wasn't the dealers fault as a lady ran a stop sign and t-boned my vehicle. Fortunately, the gentleman test driving was only slightly injured.
I was a fan of the Cherokee but the R/T is an awesome vehicle.

Golddogs,
Congrats on your new vehicle!!!
Why was someone else test driving your JGC? Man, I'd be pissed if they did that to me. Did you want to make the jump from the JGC to the Durango, or is that jut happen to be what they offered you? Do you feel much of a difference going from one to the other?
On another note, I never even noticed the wheels accents. Is that black or like a graphite grey color?

The Jeep was nice but had a floaty ride and more lean to it in the corners. It was also a V6. Good power, but struggled a bit under certian conditions. Like the feel and drive of the Durango better, plus the V8 is a huge improvement, imo, over the V6. Also, the additional room is welcomed in the Durango.
Yes the wheels are graphite grey accents w/ chrome face.
