Wink The dreaded rear end clunk noise went away!

So, everyone (it seems) with the rear load leveling suspension experiences the clunk noise in the rear over bumps. I had this issue on my truck too, but it never bothered me as much as it seems to bother other people because I usually have the music pumping anyway. But I also just realized that the noise has gone away in my truck. Got about 4400 miles now and the suspension is quiet. It actually went away a while ago, but just forgot to post about it. So it must be something that just has to break-in.

My break-in must be taking longer than yours. I have about 32k miles and I have the noise.

Check your tire pressure. I noticed mine decreased when I let air out of my tires. Still have it to a degree but its much more tolerable. My tire pressure was around 42psi in each tire when I got this vehicle. I reduced the pressure to 36 psi as recommended on the door and the sound decreased. Now that is -15 degrees Celsius the pressure likely reduced some more as I don't hear the sound unless I hit a good sized bump or joint in the road
