Default Anyone running yellow foglights?

If so suggestions on brand would be appreciated. I've tried a few different hid set ups but they unfortunately continue melting my foglight housings (on set #2). I'm running smoked lamin-x on the housings now and they make the factory bulbs look even browner than a standard halogen bulb is already... thanx in advance for any suggestions!

I installed 3000k HID's yesterday. I took them out cause I don't like the fact they didn't come with a plug to put into the stock foglight harness. I had to stick the wires into the factory harness and there's no way they'll stay in there none the less even wrapped all up in electrical tape I wouldnt feel good about it. I may decide to hard wire it later on but don't really want to cut off the stock harness. As for the melting were your HID's 25 watts?

On my 2012 I went with yellow fog and low beams 8500k it's gives it a sweet look and I am very happy with the sight distance I live in Utah so lots of low visibility driving. I can give ya link of what I purchased

The glass on the lens of the fog lights is used to dissipate the heat built up inside the tiny housing. I have heard that Lamin-x can trap that heat, leading to melting issues that otherwise wouldn't have been present.

Were you only using the product after the melting as an alternative or was it on there before the melting occurred?

I thought of doing the yellow lamin-x under my smoked film just to change the light color but wasn't too sure how it would look!

Where did you get your setup. I have the LED lights but when they are stand alone, they don't project any light really. I'd rather have functional AND aesthetic.
