Thanks guys. I can't wait to get them. The shame of it is, I gotta wait a few months due to all the salt and snow around here. Oh well, at least it will give me time to shop for tires.

Any suggestions on tire size? The most common I've seen is 265/40/22. I saw someone have 285/40/22, but thats a wide tire to mount to a 22x9 wheel. I'd worry about clearance issues lock to lock with that size.

rrjjpp74, yeah you're pretty close! I'm actually north of Pittsburgh (Cranberry Twp). I like the look of 285/40/22 on the SRT8 wheels. It seems that SINISERRT had them on his D, but I don't know if had any issues with rubbing or fitment. It seems that he didn't, but I'd just like to know before I drop $800 on tires. The 265 is the safest bet, but the 285 seems to have the best appearance with width and sidewall.

Order up those viper reps!

I went with 265/40-22's - Nitto NT420S .... I'm very happy with the tires and width!

I'm getting mine put on this Saturday. Painted wheels should have no problem holding up to a North East winter. I have a set of 22" Comp Gray Trailblazer SS wheels on my Tahoe that I rode on all year, no problems.

I had the same thing happen to me with my Magnum. Needed winter treads and new summer tires at the same time. Its not fun.
