My deal went similar to yours. Mine is a silver AWD R/T, similarly equipped, it was $43k and some change. I got the truck for $35,400. It is a '13, got it in November.

Just have to find the right dealer to get the right deal. I had the Mopar on my ''10 SRT-8 Cherokee. It looked good and the fit and finish was nice, that's what I am going to buy. Also got the billetflow catch can. They make them for Mopar, but you can buy them directly from BilletFlow.

The truck is definitely lackluster off the line, nothing like my Cherokee. Once all the bugs are worked out with diablos canned tune, I will be going that direction as well.

I must ask, why did you move from an SRT8 Cherokee to a D?

WOW, that was a great deal on your R/T as well. Thanks for the input also. I might just go with a drop in K&N filter for now as I have been reading their is really no improvement over the well tuned stock intake system. The K&N filter will help it breath alittle better then a paper filter and buy once and done. Although I do like the Mopar CAI looks. I will also wait on the Diablo intune system to come out. I emailed them about my 07 CTS-V for info which has the In-Tune programmer avail and they sent me a email back stating they forwarded it my request to their engineering deptarment but thats where it ended. Oh well not buying one for that car until they respond.

I agree. Finding the right dealer will make all the difference.

Two words: third row. I have 3 boys and they have friends.

We actually went from a 2011 Chrysler T&C. My wife put 20k on that, and couldn't take it anymore. That was a real POS.

I on the other hand went from a 2009 Z06, to the Cherokee, to a 2011 STI, to a new house. So the R/T was a compromise for both of us. We get the third row with a little bit of cool factor.

BTW, the 2010 SRT8 Cherokee in no way compares to the 2013 durango.
Only in the HP and launch factor.

The interior quality was awful, paint, and overall fit and finish. Worlds apart.

Speaking of compromise, my wife made a deal with me since I can't stop my addiction to buying parts for my cars/trucks from now on I give her the same amount the Mod cost in cash and we are even, HaHa.
So today, I took her up on the deal, I had my front windows tinted, 15% to match the rears for 70 bucks, I got home and handed her 70 bucks in cash, and all was good, she just smiled " Let the mods begin"

Love the white def. my second choice. this is the first car in years I went away from it. Front window tint is also a must I had mine done at 200 miles on the clock. Welcome
