Anyone knows who sells a PRECUT clear bra kit for the REAR bumper? I can find the front bumper no problem but rear bumper seems difficult to find and custom install would be the last resort. I've installed these precut ventureshield material products on my other vehicles no problem so I prefer to do them myself. However, I'm trying to avoid the custom install because it costs significantly more.

 

I've installed almost every piece available to the Durango and unfortunately there is no rear bumper piece. My guess is because the D comes standard with a plastic step molding. The other reason is because there is less of a chance for rock chips to hit your vehicle's rear bumper cover unless you regularly drive in reverse.

Yeah, I was really happy to see the step rubber guard on the top of the rear bumper. On my R-class that was a huge magnet for scratches. However, the bigger concern is when I often go to Hollywood, Santa Monica, San Diego and L.A. area where we have to do lots of very tight parallel parking. I get scratches on the rear bumper directly in the rear and the corners from when other people pull in too close. The direct rear seems less of a problem on the Durango because there's a raised lower plastic section of the bumper that would probably absorb the contact first. However, the corners are a very large surface area and will probably attract lots of scratches. Thanks for the reference , I send Bob an email inquiry.
