Default Citadel Auto Leveling Headlight System

Does anyone know if this system can be dropped into a lesser equipped 3rd Gen Durango?

That was one of the features I gave up by moving to the Crew.

I'm hoping for a pretty quick and easy out and in (aren't we all LOLOLO)

Yes I have done this swap to my D but you will not have the autoleveling function and have to adjust manually. On the Jeep forums you will see a how to. You will need the lights, the Can-Bus fix, the driver side harness fix and for the passenger side you can get the connector modes. Took me 45 minutes to do once my harness was built and works great no problems... scotturnot did the first mod and you can look up the mod... Good Luck

I wonder if that'll cause problems with factory warranty if they find something electric will they blame it on that?

Well there is no splicing or cutting into factory harness, it's actually plug and play. Only thing you are doing is using the connector for the mopar harness fix and the connecter for passanger side you can get from mouser electronics and connect those to the CAN-BUS and thats it.. real clean no problems or flicker... I got the lights from Ebay for a good price.. PM me if you have more questions

I wonder - Is it just not possible to upgrade the headlights using only completely OEM parts? Or is it because the computer isn't equipped for it?

yes the parts you will be using is OEM.. The connectors for the Halogen headlights and for the HID headlights are different so you have to purchase the Connector, the driver side is different then the passenger side as well.. Mopar sell the repair harness for the driverside which you will use the connecter provided in that kit. The passenger side you will have to get through mouser electronics it's like 3 bucks or less real cheap.. Now since our harness does not have the additional connector for the autolevel portion you will not have that option you have to adjust manually.. here is the link for the how to: http://www.jeepgarage.org/f177/how-t...wk2-43875.html

So is it a huge pain to remove the entire from fascia? I assume you had to remove the bumper, grill and related.
