Default uconnect and siri?

I did a lot of googling and there was no definitive answer on the issue of whether uconnect works with siri, or not. Anyone know? The consensus was that at one point it worked and then they released an update that broke it all and hasn't worked since. If it's possible, how do I do it?

Works for me... I just have to be paired via bluetooth in AUX mode. I push the "Home" button on the iphone and "Viola!", Siri answers over the car speakers.... It will also use the Durango's microphone for input. As for screen integration, nothing there.

strange, i tried all of that even though i know it's bluetooth enabled siri doesn't appear to recognize the microphone input because she never responds and just times out. I'll have to try again later.

The difference here is that you have the 730N radio while the OP probably has one of the following:
RES, REQ, RBZ, or the RHB which don't support SIRI.

1) SIRI is not a supported feature with the following radios: RES, REQ, RBZ or the RHB.
2) Apple has know since Oct 2010 that there was a problem with the way SIRI, Visual voice mail or Voice memos worked with those radios when being used and there is an incoming call. They haven't offered any help with the issue.
3) There is a big difference between "breaking" something and deciding not to support an item because of an issue.
4) In the 2011 V1 builds, these feature worked but the issue was that while in one of these features and there was an incoming call, Apple would send the message of the incoming call but not long enough for you to react to it. The feature would be ended, and the incoming call would be sent to your voice mail. You're trying to answer the call but can't. So actually this would be a driver distraction and could possibly be unsafe. So it was decided that it would no longer be a supported feature until Apple worked with Chrysler on the issue. As of the V2 build 2011 vehicles and SW update for the V1 Uconnect system, these features are not supported.
5) The hands free system is really more about being able to use the phone and keeping your eyes on the road. Accessory features come second and if they work, great. If not, then that doesn't make the system non functional.

I have the 430N version of the uconnect. Does that mean Siri won't work with mine?

Correct, not thru BT anyway. If you do want to use it while you are in BT, then when you press the Home button, to the left of the home button there is a blue icon, press it an select phone instead of Uconnect.

Anyone know how to prevent the iPhone ring tone from being broadcast thru the D speakers when the phone rings? To be clear, the phone rings with its own C6 Corvette ringtone, but you also get the phone ringtone thru the speakers along with the radio's own ring. My Blackberry didn't do that. Once it sensed it was on Bluetooth, only the radio would ring with its own ring tone. Thanks. (Radio RBH)

This is called "In Band Ringing" and is not a supported feature with most phones, however Apple does support it. Turning it off isn't a choice thru Uconnect as it's a Apple item. You may want to try turning the ringer off on the phone. I can't remember if that will stop it or not, however you will need to remember to turn the ringer back on when you're out of the vehicle.
