Strut tower brace
I'm impatiently waiting to see if the price point lowers or someone else steps up to develop one. For the nay-sayers, strut tower bars do make a difference in the suspension geometry when cornering. I have used strut tower braces in all my vehicles since I first tried one and found how much more sure footed to would make it. I'd heard the same about them being merely cosmetic when I was looking at getting one for a Mini Cooper S when the new ones first showed. But after having the ridiculously expensive run-flats wearing out on the outer edge within 6 months on the roundabouts I gave it a shot. It halved the tire wear due to not allowing the geometry to flex and keep the tire much flatter than it's camber rolling. This actually helped prevent understeer due to the tire keeping more contact area. This led me to making the first mod to the '08 RAV4 awd I had being a strut tower brace by ultraracing (wish they'd make one for the D, great quality and price). Again it was a huge difference and so much more surefooted. If there's no other development changes with strut brace options, I'll end up forking out for this one as I need to get one on before I ship my D to the UK so I can prevent tire wear on roundabouts again. But I do wish tuners would start dishing out more aftermarket pieces for them.
The eBay listing says 5 have been sold, I'd love to hear from the Durango or Cherokee owners that bought them to see what they think
