did you get a new alignment after? not a expert, but i've read that installing a brace on a unloaded suspension usually requires an alignment done.

I didn't get an alignment, but I've never re-aligned any of the vehicles I've installed basic strut braces on. I say basic as there are some braces you can preload, but still alignment wise they are very minor effects.

If anything, this brace would help fix what alignment issues I may have. My front tires have been wearing a little faster on the outer side, and when installing this it preloaded with some force pulling the towers together.

Don't forget that Black Ops also has some super Sexy sway bar end links and rear control arms that do wonders when paired with their coils. Chads work is second to none in quality and function.

What is the benefit of the end links and would this brace take away my shimy in the front end ? I've already done road force balance and alignment in my front end and it is still there and the only explanation the dealership has brought to me is that the tires are larger than stock and that's what is causing my shake. It apparently is a common problem and the last customer they had did the same with aftermarket wheels and when the wheels were swapped out for the oem set off another new car the shake was gone.

I have to say I like the looks of the black ops brace bit after speaking with the company it looks like they will be around the same price point as the one ebay. Dissapointing enough as it is I think I'd like to hear from anyone who has purchased the one on ebay and his/her feedback. I think I'm going to but that one since the black ops one is not going to be available till possibly end of this year and being same price might as well get the one that is available now.

If increased suspension performance is what you're looking for I'll suggest looking at other areas first. These chassis are well designed and built as is and you're not likely to see any noticeable gain with the strut bars.
