Anyone have a number for this TSB?? My local dealer is awful and I will need to show them the TSB in order for them to fix it.

I have the same noise described in the original post. It sounds deep in the dash, just below the far left vent. Additionally, bearing right at moderate cruising speeds also brings it on.

I also have a loose nut, washer or bolt in one of the driver side doors or sills. It slides forward or back under hard braking or accelerating.

I have a small list for them to take care of when it goes in for the next oil change.

Just over 12,000 miles.

Exclamation 2014 Dodge Durango same issue

It would seem that the issue would have been fixed by the time the 2014's came out, but i have a Durango with less than 2000 miles on it and already have that same annoying rattle on the drivers side. I see that someone said it may be the center speaker but sounds more like it is coming from either the dashboard or the driver's door. I can't tell as it is intermittent but very annoying. Has anyone figured out the exact issue? I've asked the dealer techs and they seem like they have never heard of the issue.

Try the heat shield for the catalytic converter, it's flimsy and if it's too close to the frame or cat it will rattle or hum.

the TSB says fixed for 2013's but wasn't true, my issue
was the hood bolts upper drivers side near dash - same as the 2011-2012 TSB

So im not sold that its fixed in 2014

as much as my ears kept telling me the problem was in tje dash, it turned out it was the bolts. once replaced the sound never came back - going on at least 6-8 months now

I would try pulling up and down fairly hard on that corner of the hood, any play or sounds then thats the issue

Default Annoying rattle source.

The rattle is coming from e-brake assembly point in the footwell. Took it in for repair and answer was "it's within the acceptable limits". Once you start hearing the rattle go ahead and touch/push (sideways of course) the e-brake lever with side of your leg and the rattle will stop. I hope this helps and dodge does something about it. It's just annoying when you're on a long trip.

you're the 1st and only ebrake rattle I have heard of, so you may be a 1-off...

for most that say they hear noise and rattle in the dash area, its the hood bolts

Had the same sound on the last road trip. Hmmmm....hate taking them in for TSB work. They always seem to dirty up something. But I'll look at the hood bolt. It was weird how it was there then gone. I'm also getting a rattle out of the second row console....driving me up a wall!

Default Same as you

Hey goldrage. This is my first time using the forum noticed all the posts are almost a yr old. But I just bought a 2014 durango ltd. bought it 2 months ago brand new. It now has the same knocking sound. Only hear it over bumps and accelerating and stopping at slow speeds. Brought it to the dealer and they hear the noise but don't know what it is. Let me know if anyone has any further ideas or help. I appreciate it!
