Default Backup Cam

I've been a snooper for the past few months but finally am posting. Bought a 2013 RT, max steel.....Does anyone know if you can zoom the camera level on the backup? Coming from a 2013 explorer (gave it to wife), but it did have this option (not to mention bigger screen) which was nice....Thanks for the help. I have the 730n...

Moose,

Congratulations on your purchase! I looked into this for you in the Owner's Manual and reviewed with our technical group, there is no option to zoom on the backup camera. I hope this answers your questions, if you have any other inquiries, feel free to PM me.

Welcome to the forum.

Default NAVI button lights

I purchased My D with the upgrade 730n(blue light). Six months later it started to freeze and have bluetooth issues. After serveral trips to the dealer and updates later they finally replaced it from the factory. My question is that my old unit (730n) which has the same features as this new one lit up with blue lights at night but this new one "730n" (so they say) lights up green. They both have same features ,( bluetooth, nav, traf, ect). It obvisouly doesnt match with the rest of the interior lights. Can someone tell me which one I have or how to dermine which one becuase it doesnt have it displayed anywhere or can you tell me how to change the light color. lol Ive been told to take it back to the dealer but honestly I dont trust the neariest one and the next one is miles away. Please someone help! thanx

Not sure what your build year is, but on my 2012 after weeks of research, I had my 730n swapped out as I apparently had a 2011 model installed on my 2012 which only gave me 11GB free space. You can read about the issues here, it was a common one after the Japan earthquake where allot of earlier models in 2012 got some leftover 2011 parts.

The 2011 models I believe had 30GB HD with 11 Free
The 2012 models have the 40GB HD with 20gb Free.

At one point technican told me it was updates taking up space, so I said so in nine months, i will have no space and my HD will be just full of updates...**Blank Stare**, as I said "I suggest you get your supervisor before the whole dealership knows about my HD issues" I believe the look and the irish accent may have caused him to pee his pants a little. fun times!!!!

So what's the consensus regarding the GPS in the 730? When I got the Durango, I sold my Garmin. Then after trying the GPS on the 730, I figured I'd just pick up another Garmin since I felt the 730 interface is klunky compared to the Garmin interface. Do most folks get to liking the 730 - should I give it a chance?
