one major thing is voice control capable (730n)

I dont believe the 430 has that
so it locks you out of entering destinations in NAV while
driving

430 has garmin for Nav - some prefer it (not me)

730 has bluetooth and phone connect (hands free calling voice activated calls and wireless music streaming

also 730n has live traffic updates

430 i dont think has any of that

The 430N does have bluetooth and phone connect--although some people have had trouble with their iPods/iPhones--I have a 4s and it streams music just fine--and my wife can call people from her contact list by voice (she has a iPhone 4--although you have to make sure you pair your device and upload the contact list) I can even control (next track/last track) with the steering wheel controls.

You do get locked out of entering destinations while moving---although a Lockpick can fix that...

The 430N does NOT have live traffic updates.

I have a 430, the nav sucks. It doesn't pronounce the street or fwy names. It simply says "turn left in .3 miles" and you have to look at the screen to make sure it's the right street name. This is such an old GPS technology feature you'd think it would've been implemented in a brand new vehicle.

430 *does* have bluetooth and phone connect and wireless streaming, however doesn't have live traffic.

430 does not work with Siri and I heard the 730 does.

Go to nav settings and change the voice to another person.
I have a few programmed into mine and there are 2 female, one says street names, one is only turn by turn.
