Hi All (first time post here; be gentle on the newbie),

I'm seriously considering having a local shop install a Katzkin leather upgrade on my 2012 Dodge Durango SXT. I'm curious if anyone has any advise or gotchya's from things they've read, or personal experience with Katzkin?

With the a two tone option & double stitch finishing, I've gotten quotes anywhere from $1650 - $2000... I'm curious if that sounds accurate to you guys, or if anyone knows any way to get it cheaper?

Katskinz is like the number one manufacturer of aftermarket leather upgrades. It's good stuff, especially if you actually go with the premium leather package, which is real leather. Otherwise, I believe it's just vinyl that you get.

 

I had leather added to my previous SUV (Tahoe) and it ran me 1200. It was better quality than the factory stuff but Katskin looks even better.

 

Katzkin is a Mopar vendor and Mopar sells Katzkin products (with their own markup of course) so get good price for material and install and go for it.

I'd love to see it.

 

In the R/T isn't it factory Katzkins?

 

I believe the premiuim leather pkg is made by Katzkins.

Ok guys - I'm headed on vacation. Thanks for all of the feedback... it pretty much reinforced what I have already read about the Katzkins Company.. I'm dropping the Durango off this afternoon, and when I get back it'll be DONE!! I'll post pics to let you know how it turns out!
