As Craig stated the will be error with just bolting on. The new electrical system is controlled 100% differently.
There are some issues with these systems right now in the RAM crowd and even some 14 JGC's which is why there is a slight delay in the 14's production as they are still sorting out a few bugs.

When you say 'new electrical system', do you mean different wiring harnesses and plugs and computer modules or do you mean like a whole new type of wire, ie fiber optic vs copper wire?

From my only sources there are several changes with plug type, wiring type, and it all being controlled from the radio via tipm.

Regardless of how thw new is controlled, there should only be 3 wires per side. Negative, turn signal, and running light. And i know theres the same now because of the fact theyre bulbs. All you gotta do is cut the socket, use a meter to trace the wires and see which one is putting out what signal, abd wire it up to the new.

The big question is will it bolt up (looks like it will) and if that little lock button will work.

I believe they may not be using all straight up 12v for items wired in some parts of the D.
We will see I hope for the best for you guys but if its not straightforward and requires more than minimal wiring and code blockers, I would avoid it!

I didnt think about dodge using multiple voltages. As far as codes, you should be able to use resistors to simulate the right amperage.

Common sense would say "use 12v all around," but common sense would also say "why have all these damn modules."
