Just bought a 2013 Durango and have seen references that when the MDS is activated, the EVIC should indicate that is. Haven't seen it yet and do a lot of hwy miles so figure I should by now...Thx

ill put this in 3rd gen for you

 

I usually drive using the Fuel Economy display and when the MDS engages you should see a little box displayed as "ECO" in the upper left. Make sure you are not in low range assuming you are driving an AWD or that you are not in "Tow/Haul" mode assuming you have a towing package.

 

There is a setting to turn that feature on in System Setup. . Just select Display ECO Mode so there is a check mark next to it.
