I'll be honest, I don't like jeeps but I took a long look at that SRT at the showroom. The extra wide tires and the bigger engine are nice. Speaking of tires. I've been researching the 2014 DD since the first photos emerged. I've seen tons of videos and in many of them they show the Citadel and RT with P265/40R22XL 105W tires. When I build my Durango those wheels were not available. Hell, Chrome wasn't evenavailable. Just polish aluminum and theblack -out option. Is too late for me to change it but does anyone here knows if the 22 are available? or are those aftermarket? I checked the Mopar store and found nothing. If any of you guys find anything online please post links.. Thanks in advance..

BTW, in case you weren't aware, the 40 number refers to the aspect ratio of the tire, not the width. That would be the 3 digit number usually in the 200 range. You can have 40 series tires that are fairly narrow and have a very small sidewall. Or you can have a super wide tire (300+) for which a 40% aspect ratio yields a fairly tall tire.

Exactly. 225/40 18. 225mm wide, 40%x225=sidewall hight, 18 inches in diameter. Makes perfect sense no? Lol

I fixed it,, If that helps.. I meant to say that the Citadel on the video seems to have 22 Low profile tires. I am not a tire expert. We all make mistakes...

I hope you didn't think I was making fun of you, my humor may have been lost...I was laughing at the fact that the tire size mixes the metric system with the american system and uses percentages as well.

I have the same issue with jeep that I have with a chevy and the older durango. Square wheel wells look horrible! A square next to a circle doesn't work for me. lol

I never noticed that about the jeeps and older Durango's. They do lookkind of weird. I always thought that the 1st Gen Durango design was nice untilyou mentioned that...
