Put the hood stripes on today, flat red in color. Went on pretty easy with the use of a blow dryer. Still undecided whether I like them or not. Will be installing MPG caliper covers in the next couple of days since they arrive tomorrow along with my Volant CAI.

 

I don't know maybe when you get the red calibers we will see.

 

The stripes look good.
They will look much better with the Red Calipers Covers.

 

I considered a black set last year and could never convince myself about em.. I say nah to them!

 

I thought about it too and gave it a shot, but really took away from the look of the car, even with my red covers. BTW, just took pic to see what it looked like, didnt complete the install, hence all the bubbles etc



So its a NO from me, your truck is sharp without it.

I agree with your color scheme, they look great, maybe its just the red no matter what color your vehicle is, it really changes the great look of the DD. Another one of those, "just my 2 cents"

Ok, I received my MPG caliper covers in Satin clear yesterday and repainted them Mopar red, with ceramic paint, applied "Durango" caliper decals and clear coated everything with ceramic clear. I put them in the sun all afternoon to bake. Today, I just finished installing them, What an easy mod with such dramatic effect. LOVE THEM, and now love the stripes too. I did remove the top portion of the stripes from the hood which I like better. IMO. Her is a crapy photo with my droid phone so everyone can check it out.
