Same here. Even though, I 've been thinking about trying Royal Purple.

I have about 10k on mine - always brought it to the dealer b/c of the potential to need a "special" tool to remove the filter - what is this tool? Thinking about making the switch after my 2 more changes I already paid for.

BTW, the dealer didn't tell me about it, the guy at AutoZone did.

wow - disregard my "special tool" bit - googled some of the filters you guys are using - just your typical filter I see...looks like their book was wrong from the thing the filter the guy showed me.

Next time is due I'll put mobile 1 and a purolator gold. If I could get away with it, I'd run Rotella t6, but that's too thick for our engines.

Dont have an RT, but I run Mobil 1 EP 5w30 and Mobil 1 M1-209A filter in my 3.7 V6. So far so good, change every 10k miles.. Warranty from Mobil 1 says Guaranteed for 15,000 miles but I change every 10,000. Just a personal peice of mind policy of mine. Oil comes out looking clean and keeps my fuel mileage up from conventional oil so I'm happy! Best I can tell my 165,000 mile engine is aswell

Anyone know where the oil filter is located on 2015 R/T?
