Default Projector LED fog lights, installed perfect fit,

I know their is alot of threads on her about LED / HID fog lights, but I thought I would throw this out there for anyone on the fence to do this mod. I purchased my LED projectors on ebay, see link below and installed them today. they were an exact match and plugged into the socked with no modifications what so ever, no cutting tabs or anything. Maybe I'll post a picture tonight showing how they light up with the 12 LED's and the projector I hope they are bright. I do know they look very bright in the daylight that is for sure.

I have these as well! They are OK on light output. Easy to see in the day, but no useable light output at night!

All these look like is a powerful smd led with a lens to focus the light. Am i wrong?

These are what I installed on my D. Got these from another member. These work great and are very bright and match the HID very well.

I like the looks of the LED. The stock HID's are awesome and if you need more light to see at night you might need some glasses. Fogs are more of an accent light than a functional light for driving.. And don't get me started on those dbags that throw all HID's in rigs that aren't designed for them and blind the shi# out of us on the roads.

And does anyone know of a good place to get the licence plate LED?

I have some regular smd leds and hid bulbs for my fogs. After debating it, im gonna go the led route, dont wanna melt my housing.

My leds arent nearly this bright. So i just ordered these and will post pics of the difference between these and regular leds and vs hids

Wow, looks like they do project and give some decent additional light. I have regular SMD LEDS in my GT500 fogs and they are 100% just for looks.
