Default 2012 Durango R/T Dyno

Well, I went to dyno the Durango since I now have the K&N CAI, Magnaflow exhaust, 80mm TB and Hypertech Tuner. The shop I went to last night was having an issue with reading the RPM and torque but we did get HP rating. One the K&N website (http://www.knfilters.com/dynocharts/77-1563_dyno.pdf) The 5.7L has 245hp rated by this graph in the link. Last night my best run was 298HP in 4th gear. Tomorrow AM I am going to Shelby American Motorsports to get a better reading and more complete dyno readout. And I will post the updates here.

Hey MJ...when you dyno'd your D the last time, you had rwhp of 320 in Vegas. This time, even with the additional mods, you pulled 297. Am I missing something? Don't get me wrong, having true 300 rwhp is great for our D's, but I was expecting you to have more than the initial 320 back in 2012.

I went to same shop and reviewed last runs. The 320 run was after shutdown so it must of been a glitch. That was my first time on a dyno.

So got dyno done at a great shop this morning. 310rwhp and 360ftlb in 4th gear. I can say that in 3rd it read 359rwhp but thats inflated due to gearing.

Great numbers on your truck, especially those torque numbers love it.

Now can you do it again this time add back a stock part one by one so we can see which mod actually is responsible for these numbers, haha

Does the Hypertech have data logging and custom tuning available? Would be nice to see a little more detail so you can tweak the tune and get more. Nice numbers!
