Just bought a used trinity off e-bay for $300. I'll get it tomorrow and I've got a buddy who is a CMR tuner so I'll get him to work on an e-mail tune.
Going to the track today for some before times. My best so for has been a 15.49 with a catback and intake. I'd love to be the first to hit 14s with the Led Zepellin. I really think this pig needs a torque converter but since it is my tow vehicle I'm not doing it

I bought the 180* thermostat at O'Reillys auto parts. The found it under part number 4128. I think autozone calls it 383-180? (but they can look it up under 4128). They area all made by Motorad in Germany. You don't need to replace the gasket.
Went to the track this morning. Conditions were good but only ran a 15.7x and a 15.64 at 88.6 MPH. My previous best was a 15.49. These motors will get heatsoaked so i think the 180* thermostat helped because it was between 179 and 185 on the highway there and at the track. Previously it would be around 203-206. In previous track outings my first run would be in the 16s because of heatsoak.
Diablo Trinity is going in tomorrow. I still feel the truck needs a torque converter as it is completely anemic until you get half-way down the track.

Trinity nor intune are supporting TQ management at the moment! Only thing you can adjust are the shift points and the other known parameters but not TQ management! Mike and Vas from DS confirmed that to me twice! Sadly, they didn't break the encryption of everything yet. If they will is something they do not know at the moment. My last chat with Vas was only 2 weeks ago.

People seem to indicate stronger shifts with the hemifever tuning. Wonder if that is for jeeps only or if it applies to the Durango 5.7 also.

You can adjust the fans with or without A/C and shift points along with raised rev and speed limits, tire size, MDS, traction control and another shift adjustment I wasn't familiar with. Also you can do a data log and my tuner said the TQ management would be included with the tune and that was last week but I will confirm it with him this week. So far I like it but I wish they would have said you need to pop the push button and use the key fob like a key in order to install the tune....I thought I was going to have a dead rig for a few moments!
