What MPG are you getting with your tune
I couldn't tell if that R/T that passed me was black or steel...but it looked good. I'm covered in pollen and will have to clean up tomorrow.
As for the TB, I just wanted to do an experiment. When I first put the 85mm in, I did notice more power, but also that my mpg was the same or even lower. After all the guys started saying they were getting better mpg with the hyper tech, I figured I'd try to see if I would have the same performance with the stock TB, but better mpg. I did notice improved mpg after going back to the stock TB, but that burst off the line was missing.
Long story short, last night I put the 85mm back in and I'll try not to act like I'm at raceway park every time I see a green traffic light.
Btw...those wider tires/wheels have to be my next mod!!!

Took it off of my truck, put the MPG booster tune on my D. Before the tune 21-22mpg with cruise at 60mph, flat ground. Same conditions 24-25mpg after MPG tune. Now, those are resetting the gauge at speed to get a good comparison. Over a few miles (10+). I can't compare to the whole tank because I used to get 14 ish over the whole tank in CA, but now that I am in MN I am getting 17+ on a tank(with some spirited runs) Buuuut MN has a lot better traffic and I get to actually set the cruise.
MPG aside, the MPG booster tune drives MUCH better than stock. Its how this SUV should have come from the factory.

I'm on the 93 octane tune from Hemifever since 2 weeks now. Yesterday I made a 400km trip. I averaged 11,9l/100km with it and cruise set at 120-130km/h. Traffic was good and I could roll all the time. But as you know I live in Switzerland so our highways are not completely flat. My diesel Nitro averaged 10.8l on the same trip last year! So just one liter more than the 700kg lighter Nitro! Pretty good I think and because diesel is more expensive here than gas the D is actually cheaper in costs :-)
Of course you have to say that the diesel Nitro doesn't consume more in the city. I always had between 10.2 and 10.9l whereas with the D I have 14-15l. Heavy city driving is not meant for the D. But on the highway It doesn't make much difference to other heavy cars. I could imagine that the diesel Durango would be more stable in heavy city driving like my Nitro was but I can live with it.
Ah with the 89 Octane tune the average on highway driving was at 10,8l/100km when not going faster than 110-120km/h and completely flat surface. So the 93 Octane tune slightly uses more fuel but I can really say that it has more power than the 89tune. I experience this on my hilly road back home where 2nd gear pushed really hart lately :-)

Hypertech with a Volant: I am not entirely positive to the net gain. It seems to be +2 mpg.
I drove approximately 750 miles round trip this weekend. I started at 760 ft elevation, crossed the blue mountains, peaking at about 3100 ft then on to about 2400 feet. For the first leg, I was using 89 octane and averaged 19.2 MPG according to the EVIC. (Friday before memorial day weekend, 15 state and sheriff police in a 6 hour trip!). For the return I was using 91 octane and averaged 21.5 MPH! (only saw 2 police cars the entire trip on memorial day.)

I crossed three states, so for the first 30 miles I averaged about 75 mph in Washington, then through Oregon for about another 200 miles or so I averaged about 70 mph, then in Idaho for the remaining portion of the trip, probably another roughly 150-200 miles I averaged roughly 80 mph.
